Jace, Pieter & al
Thanks for your feedback on CDS dry transfers.
Actually I experienced all in all the same as Bob here ...eventually destroying
everything ... the sheet, the transfer, the paint job and some of the cars
parts after rubbing in into paint thinner :(:( (we all know this .. when one
thing goes wrong ... you eventually can end up with a total mess...)
Jace/Pieter; if you can share your 'cooking receipt' for good transfering,
would love it. (I bought several sets from Terry / TMR distributing in Ontario
and have still a few left for a second try).

Re other exchanges on the kit building, seems that most of those having given
it a try share the same concerns: Very complex ajustement of the end photo
etched parts. (Yes I used the micro mark brass plying tool, yes the
photo-etched parts I found in the kits are brass and not stainless, but this
did not solve my difficulties :().
Yes I had the same idea as you Pieter, about re-designing the ends in another
way (Photo etched parts being probably the best way forward,). However, given
the many threads we've read recently on the difficulties to get enough buying
commitments from S scalers into new projects, I would personnaly not give it a
try.(
