The SHS 2-8-0 was an extraordinary steamer that to some of us was nicer
than brass. After all it was offered with both smoke and sound. And while
not cheap, was much cheaper than brass. And because of SHS's commitment to
S going way beyond the steam project, we all paid close attention to the
development of this loco. I hope that Don can come out with another "right"
steamer with the "right" roadnames and score another home run, steam and
diesel.
