Alex, as far as I know there were 3 GP 40 Beveridge Kits built or versions
thereof in S scale existence. I built a Chessie System B&O GP40-2 1977 full
model Beveridge power, finished it in 1979. Jon built a Great Northern Bi
Centiennial 1776 1976 GP40P in 1979. We exibited and ran them in the S fest in
Chicago in 1979. (Both of us lost to hi rail models in the model contest,go
figure) Jessie Bennett built one, have not seen it, think it was a snoot UP SD
40-2, no decals. Ken Zieska took pics of it when he visited Jessie's layout a
few years ago before Jessie passed. Don't want to insult any professional brass
modelers, but building it was not for the weak of modeling heart. Your best
resistence brass modeling skills will be needed. Hope this helps Merry
Christmas regards Jerry Smith Arnold Md
