Subject: {S-Scale List} Re: source for hydrocal

John,

Hydrocal is a product of U S Gypsum, hereafter known as USG. This brand of
plaster products has been around a long time and should be handled by at least
one if not all of your local Big Box Home Centers. They just don't know they
handle it, as they never look past their noses into the special-order catalog.

That being said, you may or may not get your local store to order you some.
Sometimes they have a minimum quantity, and the amount you want may not be
enough. So....

if you go to

http://plaster.com/HYDROCAL.html

you can order online from the source. You will have to pay shipping too, which
can be steep. You will likely get a better price from your local store IF they
can order it for you through their "normal" channels which should eliminate the
shipping cost.

Good luck on this one

Darrell Smith
