The first thing I did was to replace the scribed siding used for decking with individual boards. I thought it built up to a very nice structure. But, if I were to do it again, I think I would just find a prototype I wanted to model or source sone of the many plans that have been arount (PFE reefer book as several). There really is not much to them and there is lots of stripwood around. Of course you need to decide if you want a single or double deck...or if you want a roof over the deck too...
