Really? I just made an Admin post stating that I wasn't going to worry about
off-topic stuff in people's SIGNATURES. That did not mean that I was going to
ignore POSTS that were off topic!

Carey has had that line from the Bill of Rights in his signature on this list
for years. That does not mean that it is open for discussion here. A quick
search showed a half dozen Yahoo groups on various topics related to firearms
and/or the 2nd Amendment. Any discussion of what you own or want to own and why
you want to own it belongs THERE or in private email between like minded
members, unless  it is an S Scale train item.

Any questions or comments pro or con should be directed to the moderators - off
list.

Pieter E. Roos, Yahoo S Scale List Co-owner.

Yup, and I'm thinking about purchasing a Smith & Wesson
M&P .40 as well as getting a Concealed Carry permit in OK.  Further, if
I do this, the wife and I both will be taking safe handgun handling classes and
she'll learn to shoot too.

I want her to be able to defend herself and her property if I
pull the pin before she does. (And statistics say I will.)

Carey, DON'T YOU DARE stop using that tagline!!!  There are those
among us who understand the appreciate what it means and what it is all
about!  Like I've been saying for years to some people here about my
posts... if they don't like what you have to say, they can delete it without
  reading it!

Historical. My great
grandfather**? was a colonel in the PA Militia back
in the 1770s and 80s.
I was lucky enough to be the grandson**? who his
rifle and pistol were
passed down to. Still trying to figure out how to
put that into the layout
I am designing. Maybe a museum in his honor.

Local legend has it that
he was the inspiration for James Fenimore
Cooper's book "The
  Spy".

BTW, that tag has been on my mail since I joined the list and all
  my
other signatures for over 20 years.
