Howdy! As we all begin to move around this Spring and with Summer vacations like our NASG Convention in CHATTANOOGA coming soon, we want to warn each of you about a scam being put into effect by PILOT gas stations. Our VISA company also indicated other gasoline station chains are also starting this practice. What are they doing? They are charging to your credit card $151.00 plus the actual amount of the purchase you make when you buy fuel. We purchased two fill ups from PILOT and ended up with $302.00 being held against our VISA card for seven days, plus the charge for the actual fuel purchased.
Clearly PILOT's intent is to make money off the float of thousands of transactions which will make them millions. You have been warned in time to avoid this happening to you. Bob McCarthy
