A long gone S scaler by the name of Ed Filler had put together some small engines that always looked interesting. I thought they might have come from brass etched kits. I've never seen his name mentioned or any of his items shown anywhere. Perhaps some oldtimers might recall what he had built and their history.

The other solution might be to use the Wiseman Sn3 kits as a starting place.

Jerry,

I can't recall anyone offering a standard gauge two truck Shay in S.

PBL offered a standard gauge 3 truck 60 ton Shay (20?)years ago and is producing an improved version which should *finally* arrive this year.

They are also offering the narrow gauge versions with standard gauge trucks (and vice-versa.)
