I'm a big proponent of honoring those who served our scale over the years. When I hatched the idea of a Library, I recommended naming it the Russ Mobley Library since he had only recently been deceased. Now whenever someone asks who Russ Mobley was, someone will answer and in that way, his memory will go on.
I did fail to get support for my idea of an S Hall of Fame and it sort of went away. Perhaps now would be a good time for the NASG BOT to revive the proposal so we can give lasting honor to the large list of those who did so much for our scale.
