John is correct, our repair and DCC install tested every engine that we shipped
out on a 40" X 60" oval, both AF comp. and code 110. Although we never
intended our code 110 2-8-0s to operate on 20" radius curved track, they were
able to with minimal if any problems. Some (not even most, but I suspect it
was less than 10%) of the code 110 locos did have one of the blind drivers drop
next to the inside rail when negotiating the 20" radius curved track. It did
not seem to be a problem with our 25" radius sectional track.
