Yesterday Donna & I went to a higher end jeweler after I found out the "independent" (read - CHEAPER) jeweler I had been dealing with for 30 years closed. Donna was getting some rings repaired. The high end joint did their repairs on site and had a staff of 5. They wanted you to know that fact so the repair department was in full view behind big windows. I gave a few looks in there without starting and thought how many jewelers would have been great to have. There was a pretty large ultrasonic cleaner. But the think I liked best was this very cool micro-torch. It was just like a full sized welders torch including 2 hoses but was about 6" long. I don't think I would want an A and B tank in my room where I do most of my work but was pretty impressed with that torch!
