Good afternoon! We took over production of the Chad Boaz SAL F-6 flatcar program. Pete Silcox provided SAL equipment diagrams for four groups of bulkhead flats developed from the F-6 group of SAL flats. The same SAL developed bulkhead was used to build R-5/6 Woodracks.
Recently, we received new etched bulkhead frets and have been test assembling them and the SAL F-6 flat bodies. Pete Silcox provided the three images below to show his progress. Jerry Glow has produced decals for each group of SAL F-6 bulkhead cars. We will being showing samples of the F-6 bulkhead cars at CHATTANOOGA next month. We will be taking orders for them along with other passenger and freight cars.
