Friends, fellows and foes... there are FAR too many uninformed opinions being
voiced around here that are showing a huge lack of knowledge of the real
situation...I, for one, would much rather see Sergent remain at his post taking
care of the issues that have him bogged down in both HO and S. Due to the size
of it, I am VERY SURE that Frank is VERY concerned about his HO market, but yet
his production issues have also affected his HO product line so that he cannot
even produce a number of them at this time.

Please... let's all open our eyes... venture over to the Sergent web site... to
his product pages... and take a few seconds to actually pay attention... and
READ and comprehend the text on those pages... and see that most of his
products are NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME! This goes to show that he is most
definitely NOT showing his lack of interest in S scale because he is also
unable to produce his HO stuff.

Subject: {S-Scale List} Re: SERGENT Coupler Samples At Chattanooga

Since it's happening in their own back yard so to speak, one would think that
if the S scale market meant anything at all to Sergent Engineering they would
make some sort of effort to get to the Chattanooga convention even if it's only
for a couple of hours, so that they could at least get a feel for the potential
S scale market firsthand, if nothing else. If they were really serious about
it, and have honestly been working hard on the project for this past year as
they claim, one would think that they would have expended the effort to at
least have some samples to display at the convention themselves as well, rather
than relying on John to bring his own personal models to display for them (even
though I am sure John is more than happy to do this). The fact that they
haven't made that effort says something. It's not like they haven't known this
opportunity existed for some time now.

I wish I could be there to see the couplers firsthand for myself, but
unfortunately, the convention is not being held in MY backyard!
