Note: this email pertains to the HO B7 project but the S scale version will follow once the HO production is well under way. I know many of you won't read this until after the convention is over and you're back home.
I'm pleased to announce that the pre-production master body pattern for the HO B7 is done. The body master will arrive at my backup caster on Friday. I expect to receive about 4-6 by end of next week; pilot model construction and writing instructions will follow. Regular shipments of production castings will start arriving in about 2.5 weeks and batches of kits will begin mailing soon after. Kits will be mailed to customers in order of payment receipt (first-in-first-out). This has been a VERY challenging project, fraught with numerous delays, but it's all downhill from here. Approximately 35 decals for the as-delivered paint scheme will remain once orders are shipped. This car will remain available for purchase until the end of the year, including 1941-47 and 47-onward decals. As of 1/1/2013, this car will be discontinued and I'll "officially" be out of the HO resin car kit market. Future model RR offerings under the SMMW name will be in S scale only.
