Yes, and Becky his better half required it to avoid what happened to the layout 
in Oakridge that had a large male racoon drop in lterally though a vent onto 
the layout when he smelled dougnuts that someone forgot to remove!  Looked like 
Godzilla had hit the layout.  Luckily it was not the yard with cars and engines.

That garage loop is ingeniously suspended out over the two cars at about 8 feet 
high.  There are even "critter" doors on the trackage where it exits and enters 
the house wall so as to keep out those unwanted little trespassers (4, 6, or 8 
legged types) common in the rural south and is used when the RR is not in use.
