I find it very hard to believe you'd go wrong with making the pulling loops as, to my knowledge, nearly all prototypes had them. Another, similar item you might want to consider making is Polling Pockets. I know stamped brass is an old technology, but it seems it would be the perfect choice for such a part due to the thin nature of such a part. I would buy a large number of such an item. I will be buying a large number of the pulling loops as well, and a fair amount of the USRA draft gear box and grab irons. But the final price of said items will of course determine how many of each I get... at least on my first purchase. After that, the supply will determine how many more I get on subsequent orders.

The USRA draft gear and pulling loops are done being designed. I felt that there was significant buzz to proceed with the grab irons and possibly the draft gear. I did not get as good of a feeling about the pulling loops. The issue is the cost printing of the masters has increased significantly - almost 3 x what to what it was maybe a year ago. It is tough to gauge interest based on emails.. Conversely if I made the draft gear and loops now it is likely that some people would want some of all of my new items - saving on shipping. None of the items were of great interest for me. That does have some impact on my motivation on making things. These items were done just for selling. You all can't commit to me for wanted quantities because I don't have firm pricing yet. ***I completely understand that!*** If you have a particular strong interest in either the draft gear or pulling loops thinking you could want 10+ trees of them ***email me*** directly. We may be able to work something out and sway me to buy the masters this week.
