Don,

It may be hard to believe, but Ken and I discovered at the recent NASG
Convention that both our fathers both enlisted men served in the MARINES on
board the USS HENDERSON prior to WWII.  They both left Pearl Harbor on her at
midnight December 6, 1941!

Ken dad became a fighter pilot and retired from the MARINES.  My dad
received an Infantry commission and retired from the MARINES.

Think this tops all other things rated as weird coincidences that I have
experienced in 62 years of model railroading!

Bob

OK, I did not talk to Greg (owner of Iron Rails) other than to say hello,
but Jeff Wilson of Hoquat Hobbies told me that Iron Rails has changed direction
for the moment as Greg and wife sold their house, purchased an RV and are on
the road.  I believe that Greg has left his friend Kenny Palmer to continue on
a limited basis.  I will forward this to Kenny and see if he can enlighten us
on the future of Iron Rails...
