Scale wheeled AM equipment will run on their track... It's the turnouts (and
probably their crossings) the wheels don't like. The flangeways are set up for
the deep Flyer and hirail flanges. The flangeways can be shimmed in order to
narrow them so the wheels will operate, but there may be some bumping on the
frog.

Lionel is new to offering scale wheels for the new, scale proportioned Flyer
this past year.
Right now, only the U33C's and SD70's are offered with scale wheels. There's
some confusion on the cylindrical hoppers. We'll have to wait and see when the
arrive.

No one knows for sure right now. Again, wait and see. The hope is they will
follow SHS's methode of including scale wheels,

Fastrack is essentially the same dimensions of SHS S-Trax, the two can also be
joined with a little work. Scale wheels, no problem. Lionel's Fastrack
switches, not out yet so no one can say for sure.

S is in flux right now, so the old rules don't quite apply like they did a few
months ago. Things should begin to settle down a little next year as Lionel
releases more product and MTH gets product out.
Hang in there...
