Chris, Didn't the Iron Rails stuff for the hopper include trucks...no point here just a question..I looked at the items that Doug Peck had several weeks back, well after the convention and I think he had 3 sets of the hopper bolster @ 9.75 each...my thought there was I could start selling mine at that price. The three sets are gone now so that is not exactly a dealer with a large supply squirreled away. Several months back Iron Rails had said he had some of those bolsters and Jace Kahn was after him to buy some and I asked if I could buy some after Jace got what he wanted..The he said well I don't have very many...and I am not sure he ever sold any to Jace and he could not decide whether he would cast more or not...my guess is not. I would like to see a bolster in such a price range as under $5 to keep a conversion car in the 16 to 20 dollar range. Seems like the magic number for an AF hopper is about 8 dollars, 4 to 6 dollars for decals or transfers, trucks and bolsters and couplers...it starts to become a costly car but still 10 to 15 dollars cheaper than an AM hopper gale hall
