I got a couple of the Cryer Grey cars intending to remove the "wood" from 
behind the bracing to replicate cars converted to piggyback service.  When I 
saw what a mess the removal of the "wood" was going to be, even before my 
stroke, I back-burnered the project, even before my stroke.  

Also, I understand that some on here do not have my current e-addy, 
[email protected].  I apologize for missing you when the change was made last 
fall.

  CG built the models two ways. The NYC car is the version with re-built steel 
sides and floor. The CRI&P car has a Laser cut wood interior and sides etched 
to model the "as-built" wood sides. The etching is pretty shallow so it does 
not show well in the photo...

  From the prototype photos I've examined, I think CG executed a pretty 
accurate model...
