Keith,

Don T told me the other day that Tom's Turnouts bought the last of his
available rail (maybe 500 feet?) about a month ago. How long that is going
to last Tom I don't know. Since you have used Tom's previously a check in
with him may be in order. You may be able to get the turnouts you need.
Tom's Turnouts is not something I would consider. I have no interest in
running anything but Scale wheels.

Whether MTH produces "scale" turnouts using the SHS rail remains to be seen.
I really hope it does happen. But I am not waiting for anyone. While not in
hand yet I technically have the rail and all the other supplies to make my
turnouts. Looking at these P48 castings if they will work takes the heavy
lifting out of the job. If they make the P48 guys happy the castings should
be good enough for me.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
