From: Alan Lambert Fort Worth, Texas Ted, I agree with you. I could use some Airlide hoppers. That is one car "S" definatly needs to have in mass. Alan

PS1 also of strong interest. My other top choice is AIRSLIDE hopper, preferably short version. Rail yards near flour mills used to be packed with these. For me this is a Much better choice than the other 2 hoppers because we don't have a airslide. Jim says below that people should "stir the pot" if there is something else they want..........., I am doing so, please let Jim know if you concur with my suggestion that an Airslide hopper would be a fantastic addition to S, very different from anything else that we have. http://home.mindspring.com/~paducah/ga06.htm http://forum.atlasrr.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=61088 http://www.thekentuckytrainman.com/en/twin-hoppers/352-con-cor-airslide-covered-hopper-gatx-43136.html http://home.mindspring.com/~paducah/ga08.htm http://home.mindspring.com/~paducah/nw05.htm http://paducah.home.mindspring.com/nw04.htm http://home.mindspring.com/~paducah/ga01.htm http://www.antiquesnavigator.com/d-778403/wm-kelly-co-sng-bat-airslide-covered-hopper--gacx-44812-railroad-slide.html http://www.antiquesnavigator.com/d-418797/nw-airslide-covered-hopper-railroad-slide.html http://www.irm.org/gallery/albums/album135/aaf.jpg http://home.mindspring.com/~paducah/icg52.htm Ted Larson --- In mailto:S-Scale%40yahoogroups.com, "SMMW" <jimking3@...> wrote: Saturday, September 15, 2012 5:31 PM Now, if you stirred the pot enough to generate sufficient interest, that's a different story.
