Ben, yes the U-boats were AM units. A good friend who owed me a bit of
a favor offered to paint them. After looking at all the references we
discovered the lettering was almost too easy--main parts... were the
engine number and the logo. As far as I could tell, The Milwaukee Road
wasn't even spelled out.
A photo of them is located in the S Sig's website introduction...someplace.
