Let me warn any individuals of doing business with LBR Photo Cards, LBR
Enterprises and Dave Benson. They "advertise" regularly on the S Trains site
and offer to make custom decals and custom parts for AF. I find it interesting
that their "machine shop" is willing to make custom wheels for members of this
S Scale group as I sent them two Hudsons ten months ago for box pok and scullin
drivers. After a few months, I checked on the progress and was told that they
were sent off-center wheels and were waiting for a new shipment. In April, I
was told they were finishing the job that week, and they would be shipped the
next week. After two weeks, I asked for an update, and they have refused to
respond to multiple emails and voice mails. I contacted the Kentucky State
Attorney's Office and the Louisville Better Business Bureau. I was told that I
am not the first to inquire and complain about this company. I received an
email from the Louisville BBB on October 17, 2012 closing the case because LBR
and Dave Benson refuse to respond to my complaint. "The BBB has made several
attempts to resolve your complaint filed against LBR Enterprises LLC. Your BBB
receives the cooperation of the majority of firms when working with customer
problems. Sometimes, however, we encounter a company that simply refuses to
cooperate." This has been a most frustrating experience because they refuse to
communicate and explain what difficulty that they are having in completing my
order. I am out two Hudsons and $259. Add insult to injury, I saw a Hudson
very similar to mine that LBR had listed on eBay. I offer all of you a word of
caution. I certainly would have appreciated a heads up before I got involved
with them.

All,
If you will give us the specs our machine shop will probably be interested in
making wheels.
Please contact us off list.

Why oh why could not the small community of S scale guys work out a standard
size/shape to make things easier for everyone? Maybe use the NMRA specs as a
starting point.....??
