I am with Dick. The directory is (was) a major benefit of membership. I
am holding on to the last two ones that were issued.

The information I have read and heard form NASG officers is that
discontinuance is due to a privacy issue. Its not because the membership or
the
board does not want the directory continued.

I hope the privacy issue can be resolved.

But it may still be possible to obtain contact information for members who
want to make their information available on the NASG yahoo group. There
are others that can explain this better than I.

The last issue of the Dispatch was great with all the layout photos. But
I wish we could have the directory mailed at least every other year if the
privacy issue can be resolved.

But that's another topic that, thankfully, is being worked outside this
forum.

Sorry Dick.

I for one was not sorry to see the directory go. I recently corralled all
my past directories and put them in the document shredder box at work.

The need for a printed directory is less necessary these days.
