Yeah....waiting around is the best we can do. No point in communicating with
them since their input box is already full. Maybe a quickie note via Facebook.
Write a letter? Ya gotta be kidding! That would need a stamp. Better to
just wait. Something will come out eventually.
MTH is smart. They can read our minds. They already know what we want.
Things like B units without motors. Forced purchase of A-B-A diesel lashups.
Stuff like that is what MTH will send us because that formula worked in HO and
O. No need to inform them of what we really want. No, 'tis better to simply
wait and see what emerges. Something will come out eventually.
Sure would be nice if I didn't have to wait. I'd really like it right now.
Why do large companies move so slowly?
MTH will send me an authentic NYC SD-70 ready-to-run diesel with scale wheels,
Kadee brackets, DCC operable, accurate paint scheme, with sound, with smoke,
with warranty, with die cast metal frame and even more -- all for a street
price of $389 (Charles Ro). After all, Lionel has one in their catalog and MTH
needs to be competitive. They even said so. I can wait.
No need to actually order one until the guy across town has his and I can watch
it run. Might even be better to wait six months and see how well it runs then.
The Yahoo Group might have some really good comments about whether or not it
is a good runner or not. Better to order then instead of now. What is the
rush? Waiting is fine with me. Waiting is wise. Waiting makes good common
sense.
Why do I need to wait? I really want it now. Large corporations sure do move
slowly. Sometimes they change their minds. Bugs me when that happens. But I
can wait. No need to communicate with them. No need to actually place an
order. No need to do anything except wait.
Sooner or later Heaven with 77 virgins will land in my lap and then I can
really have fun. No need to even pray.
Cheers...Ed L.
