Alan, why don't you and everybody else just cool it long enough (it will
take awhile) to see what Lionel actually does. And simply offering one or
two modern diesels with the option of scale wheels will not really be
enough. I will be convinced when Lionel offers scale wheels and holes for
mounting scale couplers on ALL their stuff, including their steam locos.
Unless
they do that, they are not really committed to being a retailer to the
scale market. . . . . . I hope it happens but I would not put money on it.

The threads about scale or highrail wheel options on Flyonel, MTH, and SMMW
models was interesting for awhile, but there were so many posts that I
have started deleting them. Who really has time to read so muchy stuff, most
of it theoretical.

Dick,

Give Lionel and MTH time to get the scale wheel delima out of the way and
I will quit. You guys don't know how to wait and see. It may be 2014 before
we see Scale wheels from Lionel. When that happens i will go total Scale
with my home layout, but for now I'm Highrail, and trying my best to get
answers from Lionelon Scale wheels. Go to their facebook page like I did. I
will not respond to this. Bye.
           Alan

I strongly object to Brother Lambert's continual posting about the joys of
hirail model railroading on this S SCALE e-list. Lambert has made his
points over and over again, and I have had it. Moderators -- Do something --
