Meant to say that the VO660 was a short frame model as well.

The VO1000 was about 3' - 4' longer (hood and wheelbase) than the short
framed Baldwin switchers. (i.e. The DS and S series.)
Also, the VO's, both the 1000 and 660, had angled fronts, not flat as all the
other Baldwin switchers.
Given the Frisco had a bunch of VO1000's, I've looked and examined the AM
S-12 to see what would be involved in kitbashing it into a VO1000. Eewwooo...
not good. Think I'll pass.
