I was looking at some photos of snowclearing equipment, and found the following photo of what appears to be a gantry powered electric rotary snowplow which the caption says is from the Riksgrans Railway in Sweden;
(the snowplow can be seen approximately two/fifths of the way down the page, I couldn't link it directly) http://www.historyinsidepictures.com/Pages/OldSteamLocomotiveandRailroadPhotographs.aspx Since the trucks do not appear substantial enough to house traction motors or other propulsion gear, I assume that the electricity brought in by the gantry powers the rotary. `S' content; It's just a really interesting train I thought people would enjoy seeingÂ… JJ Hill ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
