I would, but bear in mind the Y3's aren't DCC compatible, so you'd have to gut/sell the electronics.
I'm hoping if Lionel's scale wheel diesel sales are good, scale wheel steam would follow. Lionel is doing more to attract the S Scale person more than it does to attract the 2-rail O Scale person, so you never know...
