Gene,
55 gln drums not only have not only have a particular size, but also two
distinctive dimples for structural straight when stacked. The moisture absorbing
pellets will not replicate what you looking for.
With that said, many other items come in containers that are of different
sizes. One idea is to either paint, or wrap them brown paper bag material to
simulate cardboard sides, paint the tops galvanize, and some type of colored
label(s)

Do any of you have experience with 55 gallon drums? I have a bunch of small
cylinders that are used to keep moisture out of one of my medications. I've
been saving them, but don't know what the dimensions should be for a scale
drum. If they are too small, perhaps I can make them into larger cans such as
trash cans. Let me know if you have any ideas regarding this.

Thanks, Gene Cimino
