From: Alan Lambert Fort Worth, Texas Andre, It is factory painted red with White Katy emblem on the cabsides. The number is a yellow color 42. It is hard to tell against a red background what shade of yellow it is, but it is yellow. There is only one screw hole for Kadee couplers The 2 two small screw holes like SHS had are not there. Hope this helped. I could have got a GP9/18 in the same colors. The number on it was on the number board and white I think. Idid not look at it that close. Alan Lambert

Are you saying that AM is offering their S-12 prepainted/lettered for the MKT? IF it is a factory job: Was it one of the all-red paint schemes, or the red w/silver stripes paint scheme? If an all-red scheme... do you recall if it had the Deramus yellow "herald" or the "Shield" herald? Thanks. There he had one on display along with a MKT GP9/18. I got the S-12. Now if you go to American Models website you will not see it listed.Youcan get it with scale wheels, but the scale coupler will be a problem. Great show find but I could have pre-ordered it after My earlier Fort Worth train show. Yea I had 2 train shows The past one in Nov., had this one and in 2weeks we have the Plano show. How lucky can you get. > Alan Lambert > Fort Worth, Texas > > > >------------------------------------ > >Yahoo! Groups Links > > Traditional > > (Yahoo! ID required) > > [email protected] > > > >
