Has anyone tried mounting SHS #1295 couplers, with or without the #00588 
adapter bar, to any diesel carbody other than the F-3; to include the FP-7s, 
brass E- units, etc.  I understand this would not be feasible the nose ends, 
just the back ends.
 
Has anyone tried using Kadee #451 extended swing and metal whisker coupler sets 
on the passenger cars and other long cars.  This would be for having a 
body-mounted coupler of more reasinable shank length.
