I started the S-Mod group a few years back. The group and interest has
always been sporadic. I have been involved in S-Mod since about 1990. At 1
time I have almost 100 running feet of modules.

As Pieter mentioned Don DeWitt and a cast of others spent considerable
effort looking around at suitable, affordable, readily available connectors
to replace the Cinch Jones plugs. That is pretty much where it stalled and
remains so.

Since getting my layout up & running the importance of S-Mod has decreased
for me greatly. At 1 time the CJSS Get Together was the other time in the
year I got to run my trains. I think it is still true for some though.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
