Dear Paul, Tony's train exchange has a HB speaker and baffle that fits perfectly in the hood that we used velcro to secure. I bet we have retrofitted dozens of our classic SW9s with this setup and either a Tsunami, rev. U or Titan DCC sound decoders. We would add the NMRA medium plug with short wireharenss to the decoder, remove all un-needed wires and cut the purple wire to the minimum length. The only soldering was the two purple speaker leads.
