You can definitely add Oddballs Decals to the list of decal makers that have
gone AWOL. I suspect at the root of it all is these guys are dependant on the
obsolete and quickly fading ALPS printer.

I'm out a SIGNIFICANT amount of $$ to for a prepaid order to Oddballs.

The failure to fulfill the order has pretty much sunk my S scale boat, for
almost all the roads that I was going to model are dependant on decals
available from Oddballs.

I have enough Frisco engine decals to finish my Baldwin... but not enough to
adequately do a "KC Lines" theme, to say nothing of the engine and rolling
stock decals that were ordered and needed in Mop, KCS, Katy, KC&G etc, etc,
etc, that will never be delivered now.

Sucks mightily.

Looks like Jerry Glow might be out of the picture as well. I've had $70
worth of decals on order from him since November. Three times he's told me
that they would be in the mail within a few days. Still nothing...

S scale has fallen back into "the dark ages" of modeling when it comes to
sources for decals. IMHO, lack of decals is by far the most crippling and
discouraging part of modeling in our scale.
