Gentlemen, When I have time, I tune into the Steam Era freight car era
yahoo group. Like our group sometimes they go pretty far into things.
They have been batting around wheels and their codes.
Just a short while ago, a NMRA official replied as to wheelsets and
their relationships to track. What I found interesting what that 'of
the three turnouts checked on Atlas passed by conforming to NMRA
standards. We all know our lack of dependable RTR turnouts has hampered
in S not becoming more popular, but apparently HO has some of the same
issues.
This brings up two questions... I do operate on several citywide HO
layouts without any major issues so they still get things to work
straight from the box. And #2, do any S turnouts comply with the NMRA
standards or RP's?
