Hi George et.al. I DO NOT LIVE IN MAINE, However, I’ve been looking at some Maine railroads lately. I recently found out about an On9 (yah, that’s a NINE INCH GAUGE!) mining locomotive on the Free Rails Forum. This locomotive, and the two cars available with it, appears to be really well built and detailed, so I’m thinking about building them as Sn24 models, since they operate on 9mm (N-scale) track. When looking for prototypes of 24” rails, I found that Maine had no less than five such railroads. Unfortunately, these were all shortlines from a much earlier period. I’m loking for something more industrial from the 1970’s. Jeff Allen

S Gauge in Maine Posted by: "JaniceM" [email protected] janicemarcopulos Date: Sat Feb 16, 2013 11:49 am ((PST)) Gentlemen; I've decided to compose a directory of the S gaugers in Maine . Without compromising anyone's privacy, I thought it would be nice to know who is out there and their interests. Maybe it will lead to some layout open houses or just a get together. I don't know yet. If you model 1/64 in Maine , please drop me a line. I want to start fresh, as many directories have old emails, old addresses, or interests have changed. Thank you, George (Marcopulos)--NYC fan in Rockport , ME Hi George, Please count me in. I’m going through the S-scale digests I haven’t read and saw your post. I know of a number of S gaugers who are not on this list, but like you I’m not sure if their addresses are current. Tom Stoltz making turnouts in Dresden , ME
