It couples just fine with the KD 802 and seems to be about the same size.
And it may well be more of a scale model of a real one than the KD is.
Since the KD coupler is not really a scale model of a real one, but a
modification to facilitate operating, they're hard to compare.
When my club runs trains on our show layout, if somebody finds a car at the
end of the show when we're packing up with a KD on one end and an AM dummy
at the other end, that's my car.
