This makes it a tossup for future consideration.  I have no South Wind cars.
What I do have are places where I failed to make suitable easements. Karnes
told me a few months ago to make vertical slots out of the center journal
holes, will see how this goes for now.  Thanks Much.

Dave,

Assuming you don't have a height issue that should be a good change-out.  The
brass trucks will add some extra weight in the lower more desirable place.
Rolling qualities will probably not be as good however.

Put those plastic trucks on those Southwind brass cars.  It might help keep
those shorting problems at bay.  There is nothing worse than having a nicely
painted brass car starting to short on curves and discovering that the wheel
flanges have worn away the paint someplace.  Now you have a shorting car that
needs work, but you also have to fix the worn paint too.

Has anyone who owns any of the 12-1 and 10-1-2 NASG heavyweight sleepers,  from
~2007, swapped the original trucks out to install SSLS sprung 6-wheel trucks.
Are there any problems with this changeover.
