Just for you info I have had a 8' x 24.5' flat/gondola for years in Sn3.

Thanks Don,

The width works out to about 8’-4”, so they should work for an Sn42 car.  I see
that they are narrower than Bachmann’s “standard” On30 cars which scale out
close to standard gauge width in S.

David,

The flat, gondola and tank car are all built on the same body.
I can't locate my scale rule right now - so these are actual dimensions.
The flat cars are 1-9/16" across the deck and 1-11/16" across the stake pockets.
The they are 4-5/8" long over the wooden buffer plates (deck is 4-1/2" long).
The gondola sides and tank are not glued - they lift off easily.
