Art, Welcome to S scale and this group. Since you have modeled in all those other scales I think you will find this one is just what you are looking for. From reading your email you sound like someone whom loves to create his own models from scratch or close to it. Working in 64ths is for me the easiest scale to find materials in a none hobby shop environment. With the world around us still using fractions of inches this scale fits. B&S company was founded by two of my close friends here in St Louis. They also were the guys that purchased Tomalco from Swede back in the day. Their kits as mentioned are not hard to build. Just stay with the instructions and work off the photo that should have came with the kit. One thing about the plaster portion of the kit.
