The truck that Bill Lane has is 1/48, or close to that. It is way to big for S Scale. I have a couple in a different paint scheme. Flyer guys would like it. The wheel base of a truck will not help to find the what scale it is. Trucks have many different wheel bases depending on what length the body is. The body on that truck probably would not have been much more than 7'.That was a common width for many, not all, trucks of that era. The tire diameter on that truck would be about 36".
