You nailed it. Now can we live with it as a group. Some do like more detail 
than others, But are we not in the same scale "S" or not. I have brooks layout 
bookmarked so I can go back and look at it . He is my inspiration to stay in 
this scale. I now have my Brothers N scale layout and rolling stock. All DCC, 
and trying to figure out how to add my "S" to what he has.I have to make some 
changes as to the size, But that's the easy part. I have to change some of his 
wiring to make it fit. Now back to my trains.

He has yet another article in the NMRA Bulletin.  This one's on redetailing a 
pair of American Model's B&O FA's.

Seems to me his extremely well done, scale detailed S hirail railroad has 
received the most coverage in the non-S publications.

I think that pretty much proves that it's not the height of your rails or the 
depth of your flanges that matters.
