From: Alan Lambert Fort Worth, Texas Rich,
You nailed it. Now can we live with it as a group. Some do like more detail than others, But are we not in the same scale "S" or not. I have brooks layout bookmarked so I can go back and look at it . He is my inspiration to stay in this scale. I now have my Brothers N scale layout and rolling stock. All DCC, and trying to figure out how to add my "S" to what he has.I have to make some changes as to the size, But that's the easy part. I have to change some of his wiring to make it fit. Now back to my trains. He has yet another article in the NMRA Bulletin. This one's on redetailing a pair of American Model's B&O FA's. Seems to me his extremely well done, scale detailed S hirail railroad has received the most coverage in the non-S publications. I think that pretty much proves that it's not the height of your rails or the depth of your flanges that matters. Rich G(ajnak)
