Rhett

If you knew what is involved with making decals you would understand how
involved it is. Making the artwork is the black hole of time consumption.
**There is no end to it all**. You just quit and say good enough.

In the 2 sets I have been directly involved in producing there was easily
200 hours per set of obsessing over details like the shapes of every
character and where the stencil breaks were. The standard railroad of the
world made the number zero at least 3 different ways. That is just the start
of the fun.

On the plus side you do get **exactly what you want**. When picking data for
the X29 set my birthday with a different year is in the repacked dates. I
made some of the REA numbers after Ford motor sizes. 2289, 2351 and 2429.
That was some of the saving grace in the insanity of it all.

This is not something you can walk up to a self serve printer in a hobby
shop and knock out in 5 minutes.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
