wheelbase on the Tyco trucks is too long, and the performance is poor.
Years ago, I used Atlas (Roco) FP-7 trucks with Ace
33" wheelsets, and shortened the sideframes to match.
The guts
from any HO Blomberg truck should be close to correct.  If you can find
one, an Athearn bluebox mechanism would be a good start.
