Hi Ed,

UP had no F7's for ten yrs when they received their first SD60's. The ex-WP
GP35's (in UP paint) worked with the SD60's. You might have seen ex-WP GP9's
(also in UP paint) for a brief time with the SD60's. You can mix GP35's with
GP9's and there was about 7 or so yrs when the GP35's were new that they could
be seen with F7's and rebuilt F3's. SD60's from CNW and SD50's have been
sent back to the holders of the leases and who sold them to NS and short lines.
The UP SD60's are now getting rebuilt as are the SD40-2's so you will see them
with SD70ACe's.

  Subject: UP lashups

Could there have been a scenario where a UP SD60 could have been consisted
with a F7? Would either loco have to have been leased to a smaller railroad?
Which other earlier diesels could have been seen to lashed up with the SD60?
Don't want a stupid scene on my layout. : >)
