Back in 1962 I cobbled up an inspiration of these SP twin-unit cars.  It
consisted of two AF 663 observations minus the boat-tails and one truck; one
frame was trimmed and the other one Z-bent twice to clear the first.  It is
still buried here.

All three trucks on the articulated chair cars were two axle, four wheel triple
bolster trucks (two Class 4-TC-6 end trucks with the center truck being a Class
4-TCA-2, in SP speak). The two types were identical except for a modified
center bolster on the center truck to accommodate the articulated hinge and
larger bearings.

The triple-unit diners for the Coast and Shasta Daylights, the Cascade and the
unique Lark Clubs had three axle, six wheel center trucks (Class 6-TCA-1).
These were pretty much standard "Commonwealth" friction bearing trucks with 4
brake cylinders on each truck.

Hope all that TMI helps.
