Several years ago I played with the demo version of Minirail..

It's a good program that isn't too hard to figure out, but I never had the room
to build the kind of layout that made it worth going beyond the demo
These days I lean towards lower tech solutions and I'm working through an older
(1985) book on operations titled "Realistic Revenue Operations for Model
Railroads" by Eugene Villaret. The book avoids computers since they were ra
hobby of their own back in those days.
