Ed, The answer to your question is yes. There was an article in MR some time ago on this very topic which you might be able to find through research. It takes a little experimentation, but the results are well worth the effort. I'd be glad to work with you off line if you'd like. It basically involves adjusting four CV's, the ones controlling "start voltage", "max speed", "minimum speed" and "midpoint speed". I normally use Decoder Pro on my laptop but have set speed curves using the 'no computer' approach, too. Brooks Stover
